Accused bitcoin launderer Heather Morgan in plea talks

Federal district attorneys on Monday stated they remained in plea settlements with a New York lady just recently jailed with her other half on charges of attempting to wash $4.5 billion worth of taken bitcoin cryptocurrency.

The talks were mentioned in a demand by district attorneys asking a judge to hold off by 40 days Friday’s set up status hearing for the lady, Heather “Razzlekhan” Morgan, in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

Prosecutors stated in a court filing that the post ponement would “help with … plea conversations in between the celebrations,” along with provide time to share and put together proof that might be utilized versus Morgan with her lawyers.
